9/29/2010 – Buyer Testimonial – Relocation

My wife Ann first came in contact with Abraham when looking online at a house that Abraham had listed. She was so impressed on how nice Abraham was and how much he bent backwards to get her the information she wanted that she called him on other properties we were interested in. Once she found found other properties to look at also he was more than happy to get any information we needed. Ann told me about her experience with Abraham and when I started getting involved in the process of looking for our home I also found Abraham to be very helpful and it was more like talking to a friend than a realtor. He was so helpful, courteous, and easy to talk to and wasn't pushy at all.

He also got back to us in a very reasonable time if we made calls to him even if it was on a week end. Keep in mind we lived in Oregon not Idaho and when we narrowed it down to a few houses we were interested in and in one in particular, he offered to do a walk through the house we really wanted and do a flip video.

He sent the flip video via e-mail and we got a real good idea that was the house we wanted and put an offer on it contingent upon seeing it. Well to make a long story not quite as long as it could be, he walked us through the whole process of purchasing the home from start to finish and even was there at escrow making sure all the paper work was correct. Thanks Abraham for a great job, I would use you again if I ever need to sell or buy a home and would recommend you to anyone. I also want you to know I do consider you as a friend. Just to let anyone know who might read this, Abraham was always calling us up on his own to see how we were doing and if there was anything he could do to help.

My husband came in contact with Abraham via Craigslist in a desperate attempt to obtain another opinion on the short sale of our house.  After questionable advice we had received from other Realtors in the area, we needed someone that specialized in short sales.  After discussing our situation with Abe, we felt his confidence and unwavering determination coupled with his knowledge that he would be able to help.  It was a long haul, the process took over 1 year and we have heard from many it was one of the most challenging sales to date.  Anything and everything that could go wrong did…but during this time Abe’s communication with us was second to none.  He called and came by well after hours and on weekends to make sure everything was on track and to give us continued updates on where we were in the process.   He helped us thru all of the paperwork with the bank and Title Company and kept in constant contact with the buyers’ agent.

My wife and I have known Abraham for the last 5 years as both our rental manager and our realtor.  We rented a home from him for about a year before he helped us find and purchase our first home.  We lived there for 4 years before it was time to make a work related move out of the area.  Unfortunately due to the economy our home was worth almost 50% of what it was worth when we bought it 4 years earlier.  I called up Abraham to ask him what my options were.  We talked about the possibility of renting or a strategic short sale.  Abraham was very informative on our options and did not push us in any particular direction.  We decided that a strategic short sale would be our best option.  I was very surprised during the process that everything that Abraham had explained that would happen during this process happened exactly as he said it would.  With Abraham’s guidance and help we were able to secure 12 offers on our home after only two days of our home being on the market.  He helped guide us through our paperwork with our mortgage lender as well and kept us informed every step of the way.  We signed the final closing papers on our home only days before our move, which worked out perfectly  for us.  Also, to our surprise we were eligible for a $1,000 incentive, so we were able to take money home in the end.  I would recommend Abraham to anyone, especially if you are faced with a possible short sale of your own.  His knowledge on the subject takes a lot of the stress off of you.  Even though we live further away now, we will continue to consult with and keep in contact with Abraham for all of our real estate needs.
